For the record, I have never laughed so hard as the "top 10" or "Other top 10" of Black Metal in my entire life. Granted, I first read them in '04 and '05 and it took me a year to respond because, well, I was drunk. For the record, though, no one else hits Black Metal on the head as well as you do. Stupid costumes? Definitely. Lyrics that were written by a disaffected youth that hated his parents for making him go to youth group meetings day in and day out for seven years? Check. ...as much as one can love an ugly, scrawny and funny as fuck American. Ignore the fat and pathethic black metal virgins posing with corpse paint and flower curtains, Finland loves you! Except that I can't find that Finntroll interview anywhere, which is bad.

Mike, you are on target and absolutely hilarious! Looking forward to the Top 10 Funniest Black Metal photos of 2006, if you are planning to do such a thing. The reviews are always a kick in the ass. Next best thing to getting shitfaced drunk, which I can't do any more!
